Our story
Founded in 2021, Lisbon and remote
We believe the best tools disappear. They hold your thoughts gently, bring them back at the right moment and never ask for more attention than they deserve.
Hushwell began as a weekend project between a designer and a researcher who were tired of losing ideas. Four years later we are a small, independent team of 28 people across 14 countries. We answer every support email ourselves, we ship something thoughtful almost every week, and we still use Hushwell to plan everything, including this page.

No streaks, no badges, no red dots. Every pixel should lower your heart rate, not raise it.

End-to-end encryption by default. We never sell data and you can export everything, anytime.

Fewer, better things
We remove more than we add. If a feature cannot earn its place, it does not ship.
